The Usich Pofcher Lyon Group at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management is a national practice with partners in San Francisco and Chicago, and manages $1.5 billion for approximately 50 families as of September, 2017. 

We leverage our network of professionals as well as Morgan Stanley’s global resources, intellectual capital, and unparalleled open-architecture platform to create sophisticated solutions to help ensure our clients’ families and their legacies are secure for generations to come. 

We recommend a collaborative approach with an advisory team of private wealth managers, attorneys, accountants and other key advisors. Our role is to coordinate for improved decision making and model detailed financial strategies. We believe it provides clients with deep insight into their financial situation, resulting in a comprehensive plan to help manage and simplify their financial lives and have the time to pursue their personal passions.

We typically start working with company founders while they are still illiquid and have the majority of their capital tied up in their business. 

Our average family relationship is over $20 million with many considerably larger. We serve approximately 50 families and advise on assets of $1.5 billion as of September, 2017.

Most of our clients are in the process of building or stewarding substantial legacies. They have tremendous aspirations for their businesses, families and charitable endeavors, and they look to us for sophisticated investment strategies and tax, trust and estate planning to help them reach their goals.
