Biography

Drawing on 19 years of experience as a Private Wealth Advisor and 29 years as a professional, Rob Myers focuses on providing institutional level coverage for high net worth individuals and family offices. Since Rob began his finance career in 1999, he has consulted and worked with several family offices and individuals with asset levels from 10 mm to over 1 BB. Rob concentrates on delivering unique investment ideas or asset allocation & manager selection and where need be, trust & estate planning. He actively engages other areas of the firm for specific expertise when necessary. Rob is designated as an International Client Advisor and currently serves clients across the US, Europe and Latin America.

Rob joined Morgan Stanley in 2015, after spending 17 years at Barclays Wealth Management and Lehman Brothers. He served on the Investment Advisory council at both Lehman Brothers and Barclays, and was a top producer at both firms. Prior to his career in finance, he spent 10 years with Chancellor Media, leaving that industry as the Director of National Sales. Rob received a B.A. in economics from Denison University in 1988.

Rob lives in Summit, NJ with his wife and 3 children, 2 of which are in college (Washington University & Miami University of Ohio) He enjoys outdoor activities, including spending time at their home in Lake Placid, NY. Rob also plays and coaches hockey and is a member of the Beacon Hill Club. Rob has held board seats for both CCFA and Youth Inc.

Peter Michaelis

Peter has been a Registered Associate at Morgan Stanley for three years, joining the firm in August, 2015. He manages day-to-day needs of clients, including administrative needs as well as banking and lending services and lastly, he generates presentations for client’s needs in performance, yield and other metrics that a client might want.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley full time, Peter was a Summer Analyst working with Morgan Stanley’s Client Development Group. This team facilitated meetings for Morgan Stanley’s ultra-high net worth, VIP clients. There, Peter was in charge of conducting research and diligence, organizing presenters consisting of the Firm’s top management, creating client briefing memos and meeting agendas, and the team’s day to day operations.

Peter has also completed internships as a Financial Analyst at Ahab Capital Management, a small investment management firm focused on distressed assets, and at Martha Stewart Living Omni media working in Corporate Finance.

Originally from Bedford, NY, Peter attended high school at Tabor Academy in Marion, MA, and graduated from Elon University in 2015 with a B.S.B.A. in Finance and minors in Political Science and International Studies. He is an avid skier and tennis player, playing two years on Elon’s team, and has traveled extensively. He is also a passionate fan of the New York Rangers, Yankees, and Giants.
