Philosophy

Our clients do not need our help creating wealth. In fact, virtually all of them had accomplished that well before we met. Most of them are more interested in strategies to protect what they have earned, and a sophisticated few wish to explore relatively complex investment strategies. As lifelong investment professionals, we have the knowledge, experience and resources to support them in those efforts. That alone, however, would be a poor measure of our success. 

We prefer to measure success in terms of family harmony and the happiness and well-being of each family member. 

We came to that conclusion because we have worked with families who created multigenerational wealth for many years, and we have yet to come across one that cares more about their money than their family. So, we focus primarily on the complex issues that beset affluent families. We bring in experts on tax, trust and estate, and family governance issues. We can also assist with a myriad of lifestyle advisory issues such as healthcare and household staffing.   
 
We help our clients mitigate risk, provide wealth education to their children, and find common cause through philanthropy and shared mission.  We believe that a legacy needs more than wealth to endure. So, we work to help our clients protect and pass along what matters most to them.
