Bob’s wealth management career began in 1982 at Drexel Burnham Lambert in Seattle. Bob was promoted to Branch Manager at Drexel Burnham Lambert and then employed as Senior Vice President at Prudential Securities in Seattle. Bob Joined Morgan Stanley’s predecessor firm Smith Barney in 1993. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Washington and received his Master’s in Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1973.
Bob has achieved the title of Managing Director – awarded to a select group of Morgan Stanley’s wealth management advisors. The 2017 Barron’s in the top 1000 of US advisors and one of the top advisors in Washington*. Washington CEO Magazine ranked Bob as one of Washington’s Top 25 Financial Advisors in 2005** and he was also recognized by Seattle Magazine as a 2012 FIVE STAR: Best in Client Satisfaction Wealth Manager***.
Bob is active in supporting local charities. He is a board member of FareStart, which transforms lives by providing job and life skills for the homeless. Bob and his wife, Claudia, reside in Bellevue, WA and Palm Springs, CA. His family includes two boys and three granddaughters. Bob’s passions include golf, wine, travel, local arts and piloting his fleet of remote control airplanes.
