We have a purist approach to investing. We aim to select securities and low cost ETFs avoiding high cost mutual funds and structured products. When deemed necessary, we may select what we believe to be high quality hedge funds and private equity managers. Our core principals include transparency, cost optimization, thorough quantitative analysis, clarity in reporting, and tailored personal service. We help our clients through various life transitions and asset/cashflow optimization.

Miguel G. Osio, CFA


Miguel G. Osio is a highly accomplished and versatile financial professional, named in Forbes Magazine's 2018 Best in State Wealth Advisors as well as The Financial Times' Top Financial Advisors for 2015, 2016, and 2017 consecutively. Miguel’s expertise is focused around family wealth management, investment strategy, risk management, and theme investing (e.g. Cloud technology, Global Water, Mobility, Alternative Energy, etc.). He has a global client base outside of the U.S. which enrich his team experience and market knowledge.

Before joining Morgan Stanley in 1999, Miguel spent seven years at Goldman Sachs, where he gained valuable experience in institutional research sales, equity capital markets and investment banking. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he spent two years at Bankers Trust New York in its Investment Banking division. He also worked in the Procter & Gamble Company in Brand Management (1986-89).

Miguel has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and an M.A. in Economics from Syracuse University, as well as an MBA from Wharton Business School. Miguel has lived in New York City and has been married since 1991, with two sons, Miguel & Alejandro. He ran nine marathons and enjoys surfing big waves in Hawaii and other places in the Pacific. He also enjoys sharing his knowledge and experiences in wealth management with entrepreneurs and family members going through life changing events.

James Oliveira

Analyst, Private Wealth Management


James Oliveira originally joined Morgan Stanley in 2013. He began his career working in Private Banking Operations, where he supported multiple securities based lending products for high- net-worth individuals and institutions. In 2015, James joined the Private Wealth Management division. James consistently leverages his background in Finance and Operations to best serve the needs of the clientele. James earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Ramapo College of New Jersey, and holds an Associates of Arts in Psychology. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. He holds the Series 7 & 66 licenses and is currently a CFA Level II Candidate.
