Our Philosophy:

We believe that investment strategies have to be judged by two measures. The first is whether the returns support the goals you have set for yourself. The second is whether you can live comfortably with the amount of risk you have taken. The sophisticated planning tools we have here at Morgan Stanley can help with that first measure, helping us determine the asset allocation that has the highest probability of achieving your objectives. To address the second measure, we push aside the tools and textbooks and focus rather on each client’s specific situation.

Perhaps the most important part of this process is to periodically review these measures with you and quickly adapt if needed. Our industry is filled with investors and advisors who “invest and forget”, and this is hugely problematic over time. Instead, we understand that your life evolves, and your wealth planning must evolve with it.
